City of Aurora

The city of Aurora needs your help to recognize the achievements of volunteers and local organizations that have contributed time, talent, and resources to building a stronger Aurora.

The following will be awarded to our outstanding volunteers and organizations who have served our Aurora communities in the past year:

• City of Aurora Volunteer: The City of Aurora Volunteer award recognizes an outstanding volunteer whose efforts directly impact city operations, programs and events.

• City of Aurora Youth Volunteer: The Youth Volunteer of the Year award recognizes a volunteer, 18 years or younger, whose efforts directly impact city operations, programs and events.

• Community Volunteer: The Community Volunteer of the Year award recognizes an outstanding community volunteer for their valuable and selfless commitment to a nonprofit organization that is either located in or has a presence in the Aurora community.

• Youth Community Volunteer: The Youth Community Volunteer of the Year award recognizes a community member, 18 years or younger, for their valuable and selfless commitment to a nonprofit organization that is either located in or has a presence in the Aurora community.

• Community Business Partner: The Community Partner of the Year award is given to a local business who has demonstrated excellence in partnering with a city of Aurora nonprofit organization to better serve the needs of the community.

• Community Partner Organization: The Community Partner Organization of the Year award recognizes a nonprofit organization that manages an exceptional volunteer program whose efforts have made a significant impact within the community. 

• Service Member Veteran Volunteer: The Service Member Veteran Volunteer of the Year award recognizes Active Duty, Drilling Reserve/Guard and Retired and Former (non-retired) service members whose volunteer efforts have significantly impacted the city of Aurora.

• City of Aurora Employee Volunteer: The City of Aurora Employee of the Year award recognizes and celebrates a city employee who has positively impacted the community through their leadership and volunteer work.

Thank you so much for supporting our volunteers and partners by nominating them for this year's awards!  Please do not submit multiple entries for one person/organization for the same award.
