ELIGIBILITY

• Located within the city of Aurora
• Minimum 2 years in business in Aurora
• Fully and legally licensed in Aurora
• In good standing with applicable regulatory and taxing agencies.

BUSINESS AWARD CRITERIA - Nominees will be evaluated by one or more of the following criteria:

• Exceptional Customer Service or Quality: As indicated by customers or industry associates​​​

• Innovation/Technology: Provides a unique product or service within its industry.

• Jobs: Employment creation, retention and/or growth

• Business Growth and/or Market Reach:  Significant business growth over the prior year, national or international exporting, etc.

• Economic Impact: Number of employees, sales generation, visitor attraction, capital and community investment, etc.

• Contributions to the Community: Proven contributions, enhancements and involvement to the community and/or locally operating charities (examples include school mentoring programs, employee community service opportunities, job/skills training programs, sponsorship of local events/programs, etc.)

• Environmental Sustainability: Demonstrated commitment to environmental initiatives within its business, such as energy efficiency, recycling, water conservation, landscaping, etc., or proven support of such initiatives in the community
